Looking for aggressive appointment setters to join their sales team. You will identify I.T. decision makers within medium to large businesses through extensive cold calling. You will be charged with growing the sales pipeline by generating interest, qualifying prospects and scheduling product demonstrations. Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new prospects via phone, email and direct mail campaigns.
Responsible for making 50-70 cold calls per day to hunt down new leads at medium to large companies.
Qualify sales opportunities based on gathering and development of specific customer information: budget, authority, need and timeframe.
Build and maintain a target account list of senior IT management and continuously update customer database.
Setting up a minimum of two per appointments per week with viable prospects.
Draw attendance to events and schedule in-person demonstrations.
Follow up on all leads generated and track leads to opportunities. Opportunities will be passed along to the outside sales team to close the sale.
Required Skills
Effective phone communication and lead generation skills, with the aggressive drive to find new business. Must be able to discuss questions intelligently and ask un-scripted, educated questions to effectively gain results.
Well organized and able to work independently but within a team environment
High School degree required. Computer literacy a must. BA/BS degree preferred or technology/ sales related work experience.
Proven record of exceeding expectations
Experience in IT is NOT as important as professional sales experience and the ability to develop customer confidence
