Switzerland-based Destinus hopes to achieve this with their hypersonic unmanned cargo plane that could deliver various payloads anywhere in the world in 1-2 hours. The aircraft comes equipped with two types of hydrogen propulsion: an air-turbo rocket (ATR) engine for take-off, landing, and acceleration to supersonic speed, while a cryogenic rocket engine helps it reach hypersonic speed at near-space altitudes.
