Clearing the cookies and site data on your iPhone can help if you’re having trouble loading web pages – and it’s easier than resetting your phone.
Basically, there are many, many reasons why a website won’t load correctly on your mobile device, but assuming you’ve already deduced that it isn’t your internet’s issue or the website’s issue, then chances are it could be to do with your phone.
Before you rush out to get a replacement or format it, you could try clearing your browser’s cookie and site data first. It is faster and “safer” compared to wiping your phone and trying again.
Here’s how to clear cache and browsing history
Safari:
– Go to Settings
– Tap on Safari
– Tap Clear History and Website Data
– Tap Clear History and Data to confirm
Chrome
– Launch Chrome
– Tap on the three dots icon at the lower right corner of the app
– Tap on Settings
– Tap on Privacy
– Tap Clear Browsing Data
– Tap on the data you want to clear to mark it with a check
– Tap Clear Browsing Data at the bottom
– Tap Clear Browsing Data again to confirm
